Sending from One Email, Receiving on Another

Without spoofing, the easiest way is to list your desired return email address in your signature block on outgoing emails.

Most email clients have a “Reply To” option. As Gmail is online, I am not sure. But I’d be very surprised if it didn’t. I might even be surprised if there wasn’t a permanent way to set this.
I have a gmail address. I’ll take a look but currently im on a device in a hospital bed and it’s not easy doing anything.

If you’re using a Gmail address in a 3rd party email client, the issue may be easier to solve.

I am not sure how to achieve this, but this is something I found (Cannot currently confirm):

Gmail "Reply-To" address for replies. When you send an email, you can specify a "Reply-To" address, which is the email address that recipients will be directed to when they click "Reply" or "Reply All". This allows you to send an email from one address but have replies go to a different address, such as a support email address or a generic sales address.

Set “Reply To” address in Gmail.​

1. Open Gmail.
2. Click the gear icon in the top right corner and select "See all settings."
3. Go to the "Accounts and Import" tab.
4. Under "Send mail as", find the email address you’re using and click "edit info" next to it.
5. In the pop-up window:
   • You’ll see your name and email.
   • Check the box that says "Specify a different ‘reply-to’ address".
   • Enter the email address you want replies to go to.
6. Click "Save Changes."

Once this is set, Gmail will automatically include a "Reply-To" header when you send messages from that address.

I can confirm that the above steps are correct. This will be a permanent setting for a specified address, you don’t have to set it for each email that you send.

I rarely use Gmail and was never aware of that option. But as a result of your post I tried it and it does indeed work. I also Googled how to do it in Outlook, and while it's not an obvious option / setting (just as it isn't in Gmail), it is possible. I should have investigated further before responding. Great job as always antspants!
