This tutorial will show you how to set an alarm with the Clock app for your account in Windows 11.

The Clock app in Windows 11 includes an alarm feature you can set to play a sound with a notification at a repeatable day and time. You can also snooze the alarm if wanted.

When you have an alarm set and turned on in the Clock app, you will see an alarm badge on the Clock taskbar icon by default.

A set alarm will automatically turn off after its set time unless it's a repeatable alarm.

Reference:

Alarms will sound even when the Clock app is closed.

Alarms will sound only when your PC is awake.

EXAMPLE: Clock app alarm notification

4 Adjust the time to when you want it to alarm at. (see screenshot below step 9)

5 Edit the name you want for this alarm. (see screenshot below step 9)

6 If you want this to be a repeatable alarm, select the days you want the alarm to repeat on. (see screenshot below step 9)

Unchecking Repeat alarm will clear all selected days.

7 Select an available sound you want to play for the alarm in the drop menu. (see screenshot below step 9)

8 Select Disable or a default time in the drop menu you want available to snooze the alarm. (see screenshot below step 9)

9 Select Save when finished. (see screenshot below)

10 Turn on the alarm if it's not already. (see screenshot below)

11 You can now close the Clock app if you like.

That's it,

After seeing this new Tutorial posted, I thought about a Windows user I helped recently.

This Windows users told me that when they set up an alarm on their iPhone, "it works".
When the Windows users set up the alarm in Windows, "it does not work."
So I asked, what is different in the alarm settings on your Windows 11 system and iPhone.
The user said they can hear the iPhone alarm and it wakes him up.
Then I asked, do you hear the alarm on your Windows system in the speakers?
The user said, why would I need speakers, it works on the iPhone.

I laughed quite a bit and explained to the user the differences, then he laughed. LOL.
He went out to buy speakers for the Windows 11 desktop system he uses. :)
