Strangely Odd or Oddly Strange

The Big X...I wrote a while back that for some reason, unbeknownst to me, I am unable to log in to X. I cannot set up a new account. I cannot do ANYTHING as a window comes up and tells me to prove I am human. After I do that, it comes up with a QR code to scan with a phone. Do not have a phone. No way to scan. So, I went to my old Chromebook and I was able to set up a new account. I just don't understand what the trigger is on my laptop that shuts me down. I think I will have to have my laptop get a colonoscopy to clear out all the bad stuff -- Just wondering. Any ideas beyond a colonoscopy that will rid me of this evil. Thanks...

You can scan a QR code with screen snip to get the URL or link it contains.

Take a screenshot of the QR code with snipping tool then click on the scan text button.



A clickable icon will appear in the middle with the URL.

Really?? I wondered if there was some way to make this happen and you magician have told me how. I'll let you know if it works.

Didn't -- when I did as you indicated, a msg comes up - no text or qr codes detected. Got me again!! Thanks again tho.

Have to make sure the screenshot is just the QR code.

well I encircled the square with the snipping tool -- I'll try again.

Nope - no text detected. I'll go back to my Chromebook and get that account to my liking.. Thanks very much for your help.
