Hi all, I searched a solution a few times but I was not able to find a way to solve my "issue".
I have 2 monitors and I would like to maximize a window on first monitor so that it fill the whole monitor but the taskbar (placed on the bottom of the screen) using a shortcut, I was able to do this with Windows 7 doubleclicking on edges but doesn't work with Windows 11, any tips please?

Double click Title Bar.
The window goes in front of taskbar, I want the window placed on the taskbar... something like the image attached :D

what do you mean?
Task Manager>Processes>Windows Explorer(all the way at the bottom)>Right click>Restart.
There may be an Explorer process hanging...

Got it thank you. I made a mistake... I have the issue with a game in window mode (Guild Wars 2), the double click on Title Bar works with a browser's window, instead changes the game from window to Windowed Fullscreen and so the Taskbar goes behind the game. With Windows 7 I was using the game with DirectX 9 but afterwards it switched to DirectX 11 so it could be that too... Is there any software useful to resize/move a window to specific position(0,0) and with specific size using a shortcut?

Here's what worked for me .I have found if a app is set to open full screen and you hide your taskbar, when you want to see the taskbar you can't. The solution is is set all apps yo open as normal window. Open the app and drag its edges to almost full screen, leaving a pixel or two along the edges so you can still see the double ended arrow when you hover over the edge. Then your taskbar should be be visible when you do want to see it. Windows will remember how you sized the window and open it the same size going forward.

I manually resize the windows, the issue is sometime I need to switch to Windowed Fullscreen and then return to Window and I would like a way to "automatically" resize that window to the whole space of the monitor except the taskbar.

(Winkey + Up arrow) will maximize the active window but leave the task bar visible.
