The simple question is: Where are you from? Are you concerned about the government's involvement in this matter? 90% of the individuals you hear about using VPN are based in the USA.I have just lately seen a lot of videos and web searches on getting a VPN.
I would very interested and appreciative if other forum members have any views on this subject. If the outcome is that a VPN is good to have then which VPN's are good value for money and trustworthy.
The question is simple: where do you live? Does the government have any interest in this matter? 90% of the VPN users you hear about are from the USA.
The perspective in Germany is different from that in the USA.

I won't be concerned about it.

I have an IPTV Account, and people tell me I should use a VPN, but I don't.
IPTV(paying someone to watch their PAID cable channels is Illegal) or Downloading anything copywrited or for the sickos out there hiding their creepy behaviors or and in some cases VPNs are used for Business purposes to keep files etc private. If your watching paid tv for free you definitely need a good vpn. 2 things will happen if you dont, your cable provider can shut off your internet and you could also goto jail and be fined heavily. There are tons of reasons to Always use a good VPN. Choice is yours. I use one always. I basically have quaruple layers of protection on my PC, I use my VPN and then router security and then my Avast security suite and then my browsers cloaking capabilities. Nobody is Unhackable, but you can make it damn near impossible for anyone, even cops or military to hack or find you.

I was using Cloudflare WARP but I had to stop. I can't access my Mini PC while it's running because of the public and private network settings. I read a few how-to's on different web sites on how to allow access but it was way beyond my limited knowledge of networking and decided to say the heck with it.

Only thing I don' t like about Cloudfare WARP is the reduced speeds of the connecion than without it. 300Mbps vs less than 100Mbps.
