I feel you. I replaced my CRTs in 2008 with a pair of Acer LCDs when I built the Core2Quad rig.

I funnily watched a video or CRT monitors vs the monitors of today, and the colour is unreal, cant believe how well they stand up in todays world. Wouldnt choose one over anything these days but impressive none the less

I had a couple of I think 21" Dell CRT's they were huge and created that much heat I had to have AC fitted in the room so I didn't melt in the summer.

Yeah, I had a pair of 19" that I bought in 02 or 03. They were also hot.

My entire CPU going full blast right now on something like Prime95 still doesn't put out that much heat....lol.

LCDs use less watts, but are nowhere near as reliable in a very warm room!

I want one of those keyboards, but I don't think they make them in the ergonomic way. The ergonomic keyboards are the only ones I am use. Using the traditional, i'm back to typing 10 words a minute instead of 90+ lol
