Simple, USB-bootable image-back utility?

Currently using a bootable USB stick with Acronis True Image 2024 to create image backups of my Windows disk/partition.

Very simple and easy to use...

However, I've ran into a couple of errors recently, which have rendered a couple of my backups unusable (despite validating the backup after creation!)

So I'm looking for alternatives. Must have the following:

1: Be easily installable via Yumi/Rufus on a bootable USB stick
2: Not interested in running it from within Windows - 'offline' backups only.
3: Ideally open-source, still active/maintained.

Open to suggestions.

Clonezilla and Rescuezilla are still maintained. I don't use either one, so I can't speak to which one is better. I used them ages ago, back when computers ran on diesel. :)

Haselo Backup Suite is one of the more recommended ones here. It's free and can make offline images.

I'd probably be looking for the reason your backups are becoming unusable. I can't imagine the fact that Acronis wrote them has anything to do with the images being corrupted. What makes you think changing the software is going to improve the situation?
