For the past few months, the computer has been going to sleep from time to time despite powercfg -requests showing that an audio stream is active. I can detect no pattern to this. This morning, after the music was playing for perhaps one hundred fifty minutes, the music stopped and the computer went to sleep.
So far, I have only encountered this when using Google Chrome so that I don't accidentally close a tab in Firefox, being used to listen to SiriusXM or the Albuquerque, NM, classical station, KHFM. I was listening to the latter today as the restoration of the power line to the mountaintop main translator had to be shut down again for a few days, so I started Google and logged on to the station. I am not certain if the strange sleep event has happened with SiriusXM. A search on-line and here did not turn up any information about the problem.
No problems with power settings; The monitor and the computer go to sleep when they should and I am not using the machine. For example, the computer normally goes to sleep after two hours, nor the two and one-half hours of today's occurrence.
