Is anyone else using SmartDNSProxy.com's VPN? I pay $36 +VAT for three years subscription. It seems to work well and has many, worldwide servers. The Android and Windows apps install very quickly and automate the whole VPN set up.

I have it — I would say I never use it but it's open atm in my taskbar from testing one of my sites from the US earlier, I dont use it for streaming like it's intended, the smartdns is good enough mostly for that (it can't do MGM so I've had to use DNS4me to watch this season of From).

I paid the lifetime sub ($200) a few years back, I wouldn't pay for the VPN itself if it's not free with the standard package

DNS4me is the only one that works for netflix for me without proxy/vpn errors (but it's been months since I last tried). it's crap at Paramount though.

The VPN does netflix? the DNS always errors out on my for it although tbh, I would use the VPN fro netflix as I watch it on the TV not the PC.

I have never used Netflix. But the proxy DNS service includes many streaming services that are geo locked. Just try it. I use Pandora. It fails some times with their DNS proxy but the VPN always works.

Indeed, I tried several advertising as such, I was lucky to get 1-2 servers out of dozens to work, too much hassle.

I've just tested and US netflix is coming through fine with DNS4me, and proxy error on smartdnsproxy.
