I love Snipping Tool and use it all day long as part of my work . I never had a bit of trouble with it in Windows 7. But now that I'm on 11, it's sometimes showing up incredibly slowly. it's not that the software opened slowly . That's just fine. And most of the time there's no delay in allowing me to make the snip. It's after I define the area I want that it can take up to 10 minutes four the options for cutting pasting and saving to show up .
most of the most of The other day it reached a point where I was going to reboot the computer just to fix this and as I closed all of my notes in outlook and all of my windows in Chrome , the snip suddenly came up 10 minutes later. And for the rest of the day, it worked fine but then did it again the next day for about 3 minutes. most of the time, the clip shows up in like one second, so it's not my system overall being slow. And even when it's happening, everything else on my computer works just fine. It's only S.T. that seems to get stuck like that.
Of course, I've tried closing it...even killing the process and re-opening it. Nothing but rebooting helps until it's worked its way through whatever its deal is.
Suggestions? Please know I'm not super techy, so if you explain things, please include real steps...not assumptions that I know how to find things.
Thank you!
