so many unknown devices,what to do?

I installed W11 on good old Zenbook UX31A and in device manager I see this (pic).
Among them probably is card reader which does not work.
How to install the drivers for unkown devices?
I hoped that W11 will deal with it.
May I install drivers for W10,at least for card reader?

See if you can find drivers from manufacturer, W10 and even W7 drivers may work.
You can also check if those devices have Device ID and google them.

Looks like that's all one device/part connected thru USB2 port. Might be a part of chipset driver. Could be a card reader or something like that.

Yeah, see if that works. looks like it's addressing right thing.

Glad it worked out. I'm usually against programs like that but desperate times need desperate solutions.

I simply could not find exact model of card reader,installed 2 drivers none of them made card reader work, so I went with Driver Booster.
Why are you against?

Quite often they they recommend and install wrong or obsolete drivers so for known devices it's best to go to manufacturer if possible.

The good thing about Windows 11 is Windows update will find drivers for many unidentified devices. You sometimes have to run WU more than once to find them all in cases of where one driver depends on another being installed first.
