Windows 11 Insider Preview 24H2 (26100.1)
hi there
As the title says I can't use the mail alias to find the mail application
I'm not sure if it has something to do with the language of the operating system
but aother aliases like mspaint, calc, taskmgr, cmd etc they work fine
The current operating system is Windows 11 Insider Preview 25179.1000

Thank You

Hello and welsome to the forum. I'm not sure I understand your question. I don't use Windows Mail app but it's my understanding an alias is set up in your MS account online.
All the redirection of your mail is handled online, not in the mail app itself.
If I have misunderstood your question, please elaborate in more detail.

Also this is an English speaking forum. Screenshots need to be posted in English for us to best understand. Always blank out any personal info such as your email address before posting screenshots.

What mail program are you using? You should search for that program by name (e.g. Windows Mail, Thunderbird, Outlook, etc) not by the function it performs (mail)?

That is quite strange though that you can not find it in your own language. I know that not all apps are offered worldwide, but MAIL is a universal app. If I were you I would post the problem in the Feedback Hub.

In the meantime, as a workaround to make it easier for you, see if any of these will help you make a shortcut.
1. While in English, do a search for 'Mail'. In the search results, select 'Mail App'. There you should see an option of 'pin to taskbar' and ' pin to start'

2. If Mail is in the list of apps while in English, RIGHT click on it, and select "More'. There should be an option to pin to taskbar or make a shortcut on desktop.

3. If option 2 is not available and if Mail is in the app list, see if you can drag it from the app list onto your desktop which makes a link.

In the US when Windows is installed the Mail app is pinned to the taskbar by default. I know because every time I have installed Windows I have to unpin it since I don't use it.

hi there I am found this issue can get back work today
first way you can just setting English(US) System Language
if you don't used System Language English(US)
you can follow below

Setting -> Time & Language -> Language & region
make sure you are setting Preferred Language English(US) on first options and then "mail" keyword can works on start menu
also microsoft store will automatic setting to English version
