StartAllBack – Startup Apps Disappear After Boot on Windows 11 25H2

I am facing a strange issue related to startup apps and possibly StartAllBack.


Windows Version: Windows 11 25H2 (OS Build 26200.784)
StartAllBack Version: 3.9.21


Around two weeks ago everything seemed normal and I didn’t notice any problem, so I’m not exactly sure when this started. I noticed it only a few days ago when IDM began taking much longer than usual to detect media in my browser. After checking, I found IDM was not running at startup, and that’s how I discovered this issue.


What happens now:

• On boot, all my StartAllBack settings apply correctly.
• Startup apps appear in the system tray for about 1 second.
• Then I see a message like: “Hold ESC to stop StartAllBack from launching…”
• After that, all startup apps disappear.
• Task Manager → Startup Apps shows nothing.
• Settings → Apps → Startup also shows nothing.
• System tray icons are gone because no startup apps are running.

Earlier I used to see apps like IDM, NVIDIA Graphics, and a few others in Startup Apps, and NVIDIA Control Panel / GPU activity / IDM icons in the tray.


It feels like StartAllBack is interrupting or blocking the startup process.


Has anyone experienced this on Windows 11 25H2?
Any known fix or workaround?
Should I try downgrading StartAllBack to an older version?

I don't have an answer for you but I'd start by uninstalling StartAllBack. Restart, If your issue is fixed running native windows GUI, the cause of the issue is StartAllBack.

I just installed startallback and my windows looks like windows 7 and it take 1 hour to make my windows like 7 and well i fixed it
