Well, we hear loads of rhetoric about AI translating, rewriting, altering photos blah blah blah but I have yet to see a single rendition of a feature that will be TRULY welcomed by people who rely on subtitles.
Anybody who has tried live captions on Windows (or google equivalent) know that the live captions are so flakey as to be virtually useless.
For many with hard of hearing, captions/subtitles are extremely important.
Court stenographers type live spoken material with outstanding accuracy and virtually no delay.
So AI developers - if you believe your own AI rhetoric - here's a challenge:
Produce decent live captions!
