SYSTEM IMAGE MANAGER AND windows PE!

I have upgraded from Windows 11 home to Windows 11 pro. now I would like to dual boot Windows 11 Pro. I intend to use the Windows System Image manager for Windows 11 laatest release. Now I have included a screen shot of Windows System Image manager that shows windows PE keyfield [Lack of a better term]. Now with this I will make a batch file with all the drivers that asus has on their for 1502za-wh74 laptop. Before I do this I will create partitions and directories. so they all all go where i want them to. Should I do this here? Or somewhere else? JTM

Apologies for the slow response. Somehow I missed this on Saturday and just noticed it now.

@Rbcc, could you just clarify for me what your goal is here? Are you trying to create a complete unattended install of Windows with all of the drivers for your system integrated into it or is your goal to simply add the drivers to an existing Windows image without creating an unattended installation?

I can help you either way, I just need a clear understanding in my own head what the end goal is first.

One other possibility, and this sounds like what you were after:

You could configure an unattended installation of Windows without the drivers for your system already integrated into the image, but you could have the installation of Windows run your batch file to install all the drivers at the end of the installation process.

This one might be trickier and I would have to think about how to accomplish that. Running a batch file after installation is easy. The hard part is knowing what drive letter to use to reference the location of all your drivers. You can't really slip that into the Win PE media because all that gets loaded into a RAMDrive referenced during setup as X:. Your driver set would be too large.

Let me know what your goal is and if it is this (running the batch file after installation) I would need to do some research as it's not something I've done personally.
