Windows 11
The volume of my system sounds repeatedly (about 1-2 times a day or so) reset to 100 in the volume mixer. Each time I have to lower them back to my preferred setting. Anyone else experience this? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Same issue. I had to download eartrumpet again on Windows 11 24h2 to fix this issue (setting system sounds to 1%). Previously I used it on Windows 10 as well.

Usually this is caused by software conflict or a corrupted or outdated audio driver. Try suggestions here. Fix: Volume Automatically Going Up/Down on Windows
Do not overlook the suggestion there of testing in clean boot. If it doesn't happen in a clean boot, you have some software conflicting with Windows. There is a tutorial in the article or here is Brink's procedure which will help you weed out which one. Perform a Clean Boot in Windows 11 to Troubleshoot Software Conflicts Tutorial.
I have the latest 2024-09 realtek drivers for Windows 11 on lenovo loq laptop and it isn't fixed, How long does it take for driver maintainers to fix it ? It's been years since Windows 11 is out.
