In Win 11 the Page File comes set to System Managed, which is how it gets large sometime.
One option is set the min. and max. size to the same value.
I used 8192MB for min. and max. on mine.
On the Page File settings page, just choose Custom size and set the min and max to the same value.
As for System Volume Information and Recycle bin...
Windows stores the System Restore points in the System volume Information folder.
The System Volume Information and Recycle Bin will appear on all drives, internal and external, in Windows 11.
While both folders will appear on all drives, you can prevent or limit restore points in System Properties / System Protection tab and size (or use) of recycle bin per drive by right-clicking the trash icon and clicking on properties.
Anyone found a fix for their creation that actually works ?
They keep getting created on my flash drive despite configuring for no system protection, no indexing, and the supposed fixes via gpedit of disabling indexing and excluding drives.
Under Win 7, no problem....
