Task Manager freezes / crashes after removing KB5101650

In relation to my other post about uninstalling KB5101650 to resolve a different issue, when KB5101650 is fully uninstalled the task manager crashes when trying to interact with it, eg. close it or click on apps.

In Firefox under Tools > Settings > Tab and Browsing > Performance ...there is a Hardware Acceleration ON/OFF

In Windows Settings, there's a setting for Hardware Acceleration ON/OFF ...as well.

You need to play around with these, and see what combo works the best.
For my system, I get best results with both set to ON.

But some systems are different.

I'm not sure how this is going to fix a faulty task manager after uninstalling KB5101650. Uninstalling an update shouldn't break task manager...

Those things I mentioned were to fix things AFTER the update.

This issue prompted me to do exactly that, I did an in place repair / upgrade to 25H2 with the same issue in the other thread persisting since it does not allow you to uninstall KB5101650 with the in place upgrade. I even did a full reinstallation of Windows 25H2 after using Secure Erase on the drive, and the issue with KB5101650 causing stutter / freezing on browsers persisted. Uninstalling KB5101650 on this session also continued to cause Task Manager crashes.

I have fully reinstalled Windows 25H2 once again, but used Group Policy to block automatic download of updates at this time.
Task Manager is functioning normally on build 26200.6584.

Just updated my Win 11 Lenovo with the July 14 updates including this one.. 86200.8875. No issues apparent (Firefox, task manager).
I'm not going to try uninstalling the update though, sorry.
