Taskbar divider line in center position locks icon on the right

Hi there

I'm not sure if this is a feature or not in Windows 11... something to do with multiple displays I believe

This dividing line has appeared on my taskbar and I'm not sure why



It locks the first icon on the right, so I can't rearrange that icon (Word) anymore

Restarting the explorer fixes it, but it is annoying when it comes back

Could I possibly get an explanation for what this is and how I can turn it off?

AFAIK Taskbar 'Separators' are not a standard feature in 22H2 (so far), but there are some published 'mods' showing how to create them, e.g. Windows 11 Add Separators and Spacers to Start Menu and Taskbar

Is it possible that you tried out this, or a similar, mod?

I saw that happen once and turned out the icons/programs had gotten pinned to the Notification Area rather than on the Taskbar itself. Might see if they can be removed in Taskbar settings.
