BuunyJ, how are you liking that Viotek 32" Curved monitor? Can you use it as a dual display?

I have a G9 49" LED curved QHD G-SYNC gaming monitor coming. Looking forward to using it for dual monitor.

I love it and I highly recommend it and I use it as a dual with my ViewSonic 27" 1080p. Both are working just fine.

Done with it myself for the time being (hopefully will come back if...). The start
menu absolutely sucks, the taskbar isn't much better and it's too dumbed down
for me.
Makes me wonder who Microsoft designed it for.

I have it on one computer, but there is no way that my others are getting Windows 11.

Windows 11 will most likely be the first Windows operating system that I skipped, apart from my one test computer.
Like you, I cannot see the point in doing registry hacks or installing third party software etc to get back functionality that Windows 10 already had.

Regarding the computer still running Windows 11. I have some Windows 10 images saved, but I feel that too much time has passed to return to them. Numerous applications and drivers have been updated since those images were made. I may change my mind about that at some point.

They listened to business users.. IE the ones who pay the bills for MS. Business's don't want their employees changing things.. they want it one way to make the life of their IT support easier.. well as easy as possible and this is what they wanted.

Makes me wonder who Microsoft designed it for.
They designed it for me :). I like the look and functionality, but had no input on this as an Insider.

I did upvote the ability to use smaller icon on the TaskBar, but am now fine with it as is (and the centre layout).

What MS should do is allow Enterprise and Educational versions to the locked down solid, and all Pro and Home to make customization. That should keep everyone happy.

I like it too. I have been running a W10 machine upgraded to W11 as my 'daily use' machine from 25th July until 30th September. I have now restored that machine back to its W10 and await Windows Update offering it the upgrade.

Yes, there are some things not to like about 11, on balance I find there are more things I do like. Can't wait to get it back

Can't wait to get it back
I've been using it as a daily every since it came out as a beta/preview from MS. To me, at least, it's so natural to use it was simply for me to adapt to it. But being a programmer I'm so used to adjusting to change this is nothing new for me.

Yes.. others may not like it but give it a try.. who knows after some time you may like it.

Hi,
Businesses use enterprise not pro/ home versions.
Small business would likely use Pro or home. Not all business will opt for enterprise.,

Maybe I'm a strange bird of sorts, but I too like 11. EVERY single one of my machines are now on it. Yes, there are a few things that annoy me, but then again, there were some things that annoyed me in 10 as well.

You can do what you want. It's your prerogative.
Keep in mind, though, that not everyone uses the features you miss so much.
I really like windows 11, and I'm sticking with it..

The good thing is that we have a choice. We can run whichever best fits our personal preferences. Not everyone is going to have the same preference and that's not a problem. In a way, it's a good thing for Windows users that we now have a choice between 2 different, but similar, fully supported operating systems.
