Solved Thunderbird-beta rel 114 co-exists with std version

Hi folks

Thunderbird users -- you CAN install the beta version and keep your existing version if you want to try it -- works on Linux and windows --testing on Linux first --identical behaviour and GUI to Windows.

Beta -- just about to start testing



The default is that you have to set up all your accounts again -- but use Import option to import everything from current installation.

I'm getting more and more impressed with thunderbird especially as it can handle all sorts of accounts and is FREE - although there are so many options to play with -- suggest you use a VM so you don't hose up existing email client !!!!

You don't have to set up all your accounts again in Windows.
Copy the contents of the existing Profile Folder into the new Beta Profile Folder and all emails/settings etc will be present when opening Thunderbird beta.
