like I said, as suggested. As for the write speed of the drive it is possible that the USB cable could be the cause of the problem. Hopefully it's not the drive or USB C port.
I would expect it to get read/write speeds similar to what I showed in Post #16. The review I linked to showed a write speed reduction caused by thermo-throttling. Is it possible the drive is overheating?

The overheating could very well be causing the problem. That's why I posted for them to check the write speed after turning off the constant power to the USB port. The drive getting hot when the computer is off is one reason why I think that there may be a problem with the USB cable.
