Solved Trick for Amazon firestick 4K/4K+ re-enable developer options / sideload 3rd party apps again

Hi folks

Those of you who have latest 4k / 4K+ firesticks and want to be able to side load 3rd party apps (install from unknown sources option) such as kodi etc won't see the option o the standard menu as Amazon have "hidden it".

What you do is as follows :

1) get into the settings screen -- my firestick
2) click on my firestick -- it should then show you the model
3) Click on that 7 times quickly !!! then it should show at the bottom of your TV screen -- You are already a developer.
4) exit, and restart your firestcick

Now the developer options are enabled -- ser adb debugging On etc and you can (re-) install all your applications from anywhere again.

Sneaky !!!!!!!!!

Note I'm always good at finding little tricks / "breaking OS'es" too. !!!!!

BTW these latest firesticks are brilliant for using with any TV's smart or otherwise -- I've found on the whole built in apps on TV's are often slow and ponderous compared with the firestick for the same apps.
