Saturday update; did all that was suggested here including pausing my AV software and disconnecting one USB 3 "4 T Drive"; still could not do anything with these large files. So I then decided to try doing it to a 128G Sandisk Stick still from my 2T SSD primary. All worked normally in this configuration. This old guy is now more confused than ever. After not being able to send or forward to a 1T SSD or erase it.
Now what!!!! I struggle from time to time as I am not a tech like most of you who have been helping, which is highly appreciated. Still want to fix this properly with some sort of understanding.
