First off, my apologies if this isn't the proper forum.

I'm trying to keep my folders synced between my laptop and my Synology Disk Station DS218. I tried setting up the Drive Client on my laptop and the Synology Drive Server on the Disk Station, but it's syncing the contents of my documents folder. The folder itself is on the Synology, but it's empty. I've read that the Synology sync app can be flaky. Is there another app I can try that will sync selected folders on my laptop to a mapped Synology folder?

Thanks!

I have batch script allow you to sync folders or files it is a total copy first and then incrementally, it just copies the new files and changed files.

Thank you very much.. A couple questions.

How do I select multiple folders? Ideally, I'd like to keep my Music, Photos, and Documents folders synced.
Do I need to keep the script window open, or can it be left to run in the background?

I'm gonna mess with it a bit, so I'm sure I'm going to have more questions...

Thanks again!

Double-click the batch script, it will prompt you to select folders.

Clearly I'm doing something wrong, as it's only allowing me to select one folder. Also is there a way to keep this running in the background? Please understand, I'm a novice at best. I need a sync program that will run in the background and sync selected folders.

If you are closing Command Prompt, the script will not work correctly.

No, you can run this script background.
