Caps_Lock_banner.png

This tutorial will show you how to change turning off Caps Lock with the Caps Lock or Shift key for your account in Windows 11.

By default, you would press the Caps Lock key to toggle Caps Lock on and off.

You can choose to turn off Caps Lock by pressing either the Caps Lock key or Shift key. You would still need to press the Caps Lock key to turn on Caps Lock.

The Shift key will not play a sound when used to turn off Caps Lock. Only pressing the Caps Lock key will play a sound if Toggle Keys is turned on.

Would be great if they added an option to disable the Caps Lock all together. Currently I have to use a script. I am always accidentally hitting the Caps Lock key so I had to disable the lock.

So now if I want to yell at someone I have to HOLD DOWN THE SHIFT KEY when typing lol
