UK government demands access to Apple's encrypted cloud

What worries me is that this implies that the UK government does not need to press Microsoft for the same access BECAUSE it already has it!

i believe that the only encryption software that does have a back door, alleged or otherwise, is VeraCrypt.
open source software can be somewhat difficult for any govt to make demands of ..
this is in my opinion and my opinion only.

We will never know what backdoors exist but the intel agencies can always plant malware on IT devices of interest to circumvent effective encryption.
