Solved Unable to change file name for a mp4 movie

• 1. Stay on the Multiplexer tab
• 2. Drag movie to top window
• 3. Click on "Start multiplexing” (bottom middle)
• 4. When the progress reaches 100%, it should be next to the original Movie.mp4 but named Movie.mkv

• 5. Click on the "Header editor" tab
• 6. Drag the Movie.mkv into the window

• 7. Expand each drop arrow. The first value in "Segment information" is called "Title", if the word COLLECTiVE is in it (9), delete it
• 8. The following drop arrows after the top one, the values you need to look at will all be identified as "Name"
• 9. When you click on “Title” or “Name” the values are shown on the right (9), you can add a name if you like. You only need to add one in the top "Segment information" if you want a name. The “name” values in the other drop arrows can remain blank in (9) and if not blank, deleted so the value is empty. Naming these values can be helpful for media libraries like PLEX Media Server.
• There may be other drop arrows for things like "Audio" and "Subtitles" look in all drop arrows"

• Click Keyboard "CTRL + S" keys to save it all.
• Sometimes the save can take a while, as can loading a movie into it. It shouldn't take long though, most likely speedy. Converting to .MP4 to .MKV is also fairly speedy.

• Close MKVTools

It is a .mkv but the naming seems to be locked. It's a Transformers ONE movie.

I won't again ask for help with pirated films but google has no actual helpful answers.

The interface looks intimidating, but just follow the on-screen instructions in the left panel to add property handling for MKV files.

Edit: I did this just last week in a VM with a test MKV file and it worked fine. Today, it didn't work, but I was using a different file. It probably makes a difference what is actually inside the MKV container. I may do more testing, but just letting you know, YMMV.
