One of my mp4 series didn't copy over. The series is called Avatar: The Last Airbender. The windows say for each file that there is a problem for copying files, all of them fail a try again and i have to choose skip on every one. Then when i attempt to remove it windows 11 gives me a error 08x80070570. I also see no read-only restriction type rules to disable those type of restrictions

It already took me several hours to transfer a Bleach anime series and it kind of had episodes not transferring. One of the worst problems series was Power Rangers (many versions and many random episodes from each one. I have attempted a recommended program called Teracopy but after from 10 AM to 03 AM (past midnight) many folders were empty) Reformatting a drive that shouldn't have issues is just **** I'm finishing formating without the problem folder.

The other drive called Seagate hard drive is much older and this 2TB we bought online has no warranty on it. Could it be that my my usb old usb drive is being a jerk and trying to stop me to get all my episodes over ?

In short is there a good way to transfer a lot of mp4 movie files without them getting corrupted or are refusing to be moved?

I'm not sure what drive your copying from or to. Are you using the same drives for the pics?

From pc to my new usb. But as i said at the beginning, a lot of movies don't want to go from old portable hard drive to my new usb. To it's something with finding a to transfer from old driver with losing any episodes of the become corrupt refuses to go to the new one.

I know its probably illegally to mention, but by comparison, finding, the show with Torrents and send everything directly for pc to new usb would take even longer.

The pics on the PC are transfering to the new drive but the content from the old HDD to the new HDD are getting corrupted? If it's only with the old drive to the new drive, can you try a different cable on the old drive?

Unfortunately no. Only one cable works on it, this thing is stubborn. My other big drive which is empty has the cable same issue. That drive is empty so it won't make any difference to transfer from that one to my new small 2Terabyte drive

It not the quite same as your code, but the effect is the same: Many .mp4 on the original external hard drive seem to just corrupt them selves and refuse to be copied over, making me have to choose skip and choose a option "do the same" to other errors like them leaving either many of episodes, entire season folders behind or entire seasons of a show. (Because using retry fails and fails)

I'm worried the Naruto series might get the same problems, that series along with Naruto: Shippuden is HUGE

Is the source getting corrupted or just the copies? If the source is getting corrupted please stop until we find out why. I hope the source files aren't getting corrupted. I'm in the proccess of transferring all of my media content to a HDD so I can stream from my Mini PC to all of my devices using Mezzmo. I now have over 3TBs of content transcoded to the HDD and I'm not even half way through. I have way too many hours invested in this and there is no way I would want to start over. I have the original drives I'm transcoding too, The 14TB drive connected to my Mini PC and a 14TB backup drive.

They're literally mostly fine since I can watch them fine and they work on my phone with VLC uncorrupted.

But transferring to new drive from the old= They inmediately don't to transfer, forcing me to skip each affected file.

Yes, i'll get a screenshot later today or tomorrow, i just got home from a morning shift at my super market job. I get tired easily

Things are getting new problems the old drive seems to shut down after starting but other times it starts up just fine when i turn back on and randomly stops or allows copying. I checked the ADATA drive i forgot and it has most of the shows except power rangers.

I think i should just cut my losss and throw the old seagate stinker.

You're getting the same problem on a different drive? Have you tried using different USB cables to see if it could be a bad cable causing it?

I tried but that one didn't work, the Adata drive is stubborn. I also destroyed the long blue cable. The Seagate drive was empty so i destroyed that cable out of fuming anger
At least the my Transformers War for Cybertron series transferred to the new small 2 Terabyte from my PC without issues.

Dont want to be rude but i still don't have a good solution.

All of my hardwares are new but files rebelling over which usb they want to be in is nuts
If anyone has seen similar issues aside from transferring files through pc between two usb drives let me know what your workaround was if they went through without the files failing and didn't get corrupted? In particular during copying a my windows 11 gets a retry option appears but it keeps failing and the message says to choose the same solutions for other conflicts.

I mentioned at the top post, that i am familiar with Teracopy but it also didn't work before making this topic.

You haven't checked if have a bad USB controller. Take your drives to a friend's PC, and copy some files around. It may not solve the problem, but will cross off one possible explanation.

I also did a lot of windows update recently did a few windows updates and along with using the external drive on the opposite end on the laptop. And the Avatar episodes still failed...the folder was empty, it had a error trying to delete it and this small drive had to be formatted.

This old drive seems to hate newer usb terabyte drives are bigger than the 930 GB. My mini 2TB also has a next gen attachment that also allow to connect to a phone.
Except when i transferred back to black folder to the usb for new formatting, they came back fine.

What kind of maze is this?

I've run into similar issues. You might try slower data transfers first. That would mean copying your files to a different source, say a standard USB external hard drive, and then copying those files to your USB stick on a slower port. I don't know why this works, but I do know that sometimes it does with older files. It takes longer but at least your stuff will be backed up. Also some of these fancier "faster" USB sticks aren't as backward compatible as they claim to be. Some of them (especially Chinese knockoffs) are just plain junk and lie about their storage capacity. Buyer Beware!
