Unable to install W11pro using compatible hardware

I wanted to do a clean install on my pc with only a change of hard drive. For details see my thread in the antivirus and security listings.
Everything went well until Windows refused to pass the hardware requirements. I had downloaded an ISO from the official Microsoft website and burned it to DVD. The hardware has been approved until now with an Athlon 3000G in an Asrock A320M board, (see my computers listed).
What is the solution? Have the minimum requirements been raised?

What message did you see? Which hardware didn't meet the hardware requirements? In any case you can bypass compatibility check and proceed, see respective thread.

PS: The official installation is in UEFI mode (GPT), installation in Legacy BIOS mode (MBR) is not supported, you must bypass compatibility check to do that.

As spapakons already mentioned maybe you're trying to install Win 11 to a MBR drive.

Please post a whole window Disk Manager image of ALL your drives. Don't forget to expand the columns so we can read them. How to Post a Screenshot of Disk Management
If you have a MiniTool or AOMEI Partition use it instead or Windows disk manager.

On BIOS
Set Disk mode to AHCI, not RAID
Select OS mode = UEFI
Disable fast boot and secure boot (you can turn it on after installation)

Windows can be installed in two ways: Legacy-MBR or UEFI-GPT
To install as Legacy-MBR you must boot the installation drive as Legacy
To install as UEFI-GPT you must boot the installation drive as UEFI.

As you have a UEFI BIOS, you should install as UEFI-GPT
Detach any other drives (SATA or Power cable) from the MB.

During POST, press F12(?) to launch the boot menu. You will see two options for the USB drive. USB UEFI (Name) and USB (Name). Select USB UEFI (Name) if you want to install as UEFI-GPT or select USB (name) if you want to install as Legacy-MBR.
Go to install and delete ALL partitions on the main drive till you have one and only one unallocated space and then proceed.
If you don't want to use MS account, don't enable updates or connect to the internet during installation.

Thanks, everyone, I tried several of the recommendations until one worked. Windows is installing as hoped and I will use my Microsoft account to activate it af necessary. Only the hard drive was changed. I had taken the opportunity to change the BIOS battery while changing hdds, so settings had defaulted.

Back to square one. Windows started to install and stuck at 10% and after half an hour failed. Rebooting and not changing anything in the BIOS, the W11 gets just past the choices of type, I choose pro and the new page comes up saying the hardware does not meet requirements for installing W11 and that is that.

Instead of spending time to find out what causes it, I would just bypass compatibility check and force the installation. Nothing changes in terms of security and compatibility. Don't worry about that.

It's very annoying having compatible hardware and not being able to simply install W11 anew. I have tried both TPM options, the processor version and the plug in module in turn but the hardware seems to be the issue. An option that I might have would be to temporarily fit a Ryzen 5600G if the motherboard can handle it, install W11 and then reinstall the Athlon 3000G before activating it via Microsoft.

I don't agree with spapakons. If you install with the bypass you will receive updates but you wont have upgrades. If you have a compatible drive you should install without the bypass.
Probably you're not doing it right.

Did you booted the Win 11 installation drive as UEFI?
Did you cleaned all partitions on the drive?

You mean upgrades to 25H2 or higher? If you have a compatible computer you should receive them also. If not, simply bypass compatibility check again to upgrade to 25H2 in October using the ISO. Is not a big deal.

AMD made two versions of the Athlon 3000G. Do you know which version you have?
AM4 Athlon 3000G (YD3000C6M2OFB) Raven Ridge
AM4 Athlon 3000G (YD3000C6M2OFH) Picasso

I found this post that claims that only the Picasso version is compatible with Windows 11!

The Athlon 3000g with the part number YD3000C6FHBOX is a Zen + 12NM Picasso APU Processor and compatible with Windows 11.

But AMD also made another Athlon 3000g APU but with a 14NM Raven Ridge APU. This was the last Raven Ridge APU made by AMD and not compatible with Windows 11.

Why not create a boot USB with Rufus (doesn't matter whether your device is compatible/hardware complaint, or not. Untick all Rufus installation options when presented with them (Remove requirements for etc, Set regional options etc, and all the others - untick all)

There is only one hard drive connected to the motherboard, the M2 nvme 256Gb Patriot which was formatted in one primary partition. I flashed the BIOS in two stages to get a Ryzen 5600G to work with the A320M motherboard. I set the eTPM to the processor and disabled the TPM2 add on module and the same result saying the hardware is not compatible with W11. I tried again after removing the TPM2 module with the same results.
I still have the W11 files on this pc and will see if I can put them on a USB stick.
I'm not having a good day, the 8Gb stick I chose is not big enough for a 5Gb Windows file, and its a genuine Sandisk Cruzer. Perhaps a 64Gb will be big enough.

That is the problem. To install Win 11 you must point to an unallocated space not a formatted partition.

On one occasion Windows started to load, see posts 4 and 5 and the hdd was formatted and partitioned during the first part of the new installation. Formatting and partitioning are part of the installation of every Windows that I have loaded, starting from W95 and every one that I have used, only Vista was not included.
I downloaded another identical W11pro from the Microsoft website and installed it in a 64Gb USB stick and set it to boot in the BIOS and it is not even seen when I exit the BIOS after saving the settings.
In reply to Mr ed, the Athlon 3000G that I had was originally working with W10pro and after checking compatability was updated to W11pro for free. When I bought the hardware I had no idea there was to be a W11 coming out and happened to be lucky. I have another pc also using an Athlon 3000G and I suspect one is raven ridge and the other is piccaso, something which had puzzled me at the time. Both did pass the compatability checks at the time W11 was originally loaded. Still this does not explain why the Ryzen 5600G has not worked either.

You seem content on going down your own path despite suggestions, so I'll leave you to it .....

Windows itself needs only one NTFS partition but the installation also needs to create the EFI, MSR and the Recovery partition.
If the drive only has one NTFS partition it will fail.

Whant to see why it isn't compatible?
Run WhyNotWin11.exe

When Windows partially loaded, it had, during the installation created the other small partitions as mentioned as it always does with a frash install. Don't forget, I am posting on a different pc, there is no way to see what is on the Patriot drive.

I wonder if the problem is down to 24H2, is there any way I can download a 23H2 version?

The problem here is that, although you came here for help, you don't listen to our advise, don't give the information we ask and insist you're doing wright when we all say you doing wrong.
Once again: You must clean the drive till you have one and only one unallocated space.
