update keeps appearing

i keep getting update of my printer driver from 2018
Hewlett-Packard - USB - 11/11/2018 12:00:00 AM - 49.0.4395.18315

i used this method
it did work for a few months then came back and not getting this driver to disappear


Step-by-Step: How to Stop Windows from Installing Problem Drivers:


Open Windows Settings
(Press Windows key + I)

Navigate to:
System ➔ About ➔ Advanced system settings (scroll all the way down and click it)

In the new window that opens, find and click the Hardware tab.

Click Device Installation Settings.

Select:
No (your device might not work as expected)

Click Save Changes.

Now would anyone have a better idea

Many of us do not let WU manage any of our drivers.. We manage our own or use our manufacturer update app to do so.

As far as your drivers in general, you don't list your computer specs so we know nothing about drivers for your device hardware. As for as your printer, since it appears that device is quite old the chances of your printer manufacturer issuing new drivers is slim to none.
