Insider Update Stack Package 1101.2303.8011.0 for Windows 11 Insiders in Canary

No Canary build this week apparently.
Or Dev, for that matter.

Has anyone ever tried installing one of these with DISM after having downloaded it from uupdump (which is actually from Microsoft ultimately, of course)? It fails with 0x80070002 for me, saying it can't open the file.

I have never tried to install a stack update just by itself thru uupdump and I would not use DISM to do so.
I believe the error mentioned in your post signifies missing files.
Do you already have the latest Canary Channel build installed?

@OAT It is a .cab (at least, I thought so), so I wasn't aware that there was an alternative way to install them. Is there? Uupdump only had the one ~6MB file tied to this update, at least that I saw.

Yes, in this case I do have 25314 installed, but I had to use an ISO to get it, upgrading my 25309. Coincident or not (and I'm guessing, not), the Dev->Canary transition is the exact time that my WU developed a problem: the only thing that it can see is Defender updates, and this is despite definitely being enrolled in Canary (I even unenrolled, reenrolled to make sure). The WU log shows 0x80244007 errors, which I hoped would be corrected by doing the 25314 upgrade.

So now I'm hoping that this USP will help, though I doubt it.

OK, so why not using WU?
I also installed the last build thru UUP but today's SU was done with the regular update method.
Stack update was a 30 second process, if that.

@OAT The 0x80244007 warning/error precludes updates of any kind, except Defender stuff.
