Insider Update Stack Package 922.408.211.0 for Windows 11 Insiders in Dev Channel - April 14

  • Staff
Microsoft has released a new Update Stack Package version 922.408.211.0 to Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel.

Through the Update Stack Package, we can deliver improvements to the update experience prior to the PC taking a monthly or Feature Update. The Update Stack Package will help ensure that your PC has the highest likelihood of successfully installing new updates with the best and least disruptive experience available.

Update Stack Packages will be delivered to Insiders through Windows Update just like builds and cumulative updates are. Insiders in the Dev Channel today can go to Settings > Windows Update and check for updates to receive the Update Stack Package.

As this Stack Package is only applicable to the Dev channel, does that suggest that the next build likely move ahead of Beta? If so, that means anyone wanting to switch to Beta has a window that is closing soon.

OK, I've got it now, too. Took under a minute to download and install. No reboot required. Thanks!

Last build had a stack update just for dev, so it doesn't really mean anything.
