First off I wanna say if this is not in the correct section, please move as needed. I wasn't sure where exactly to put this

Ok now for my question.

I've been using rufus for awhile and know it remove bitlocker, as well as removing the MS account during setup.

I was reading recently on searching for things that ventoy now bypasses the account creation part during windows setup.
I read the ventoy site and it had what looked like scripting of sorts, and I got totally utterly lost on what was going on.

I saw a section that showed 0 for disabled, and 1 for enabled (or the other way around, but I forget at the moment)
So I was curious, is this set to on automatically or do you have to set it up?

If you have to set it up, can someone please dumb it down for me so I better understand whats going on, on the ventoy page

I've heard some say that they use Ventoy, but I've not even tried it, since Rufus (latest Ver.) works so fast and so good and does not have to be installed into Windows on my PC. It runs as a 'Portable' program.

One ver of Windows, that I've downloaded, even came with its own ver. of Rufus, for burning the ISO to a Flash Drive.

This is how I've set up Rufus, since I've set my Bios to "Legacy" format.

Rufus Opts.jpg Rather than pick and choose the various Options available in Rufus,
I just take them all. Somehow, the term "ask not, want not" comes to mind.
These options are not available in Rufus, before version 4.0.

I hope this info is of help to you,
TM

Ventoy works faster than Rufus and VASTLY better in the particular sense that you do not need to wipe all data off of the USB flash drive each time when you are about to make it boot into something else bootable. Instead, you merely add what bootable ISO files you want to it, by simply copying the files. So when you boot from the flash drive, Ventoy shows a list of all these bootable ISO files, and conveniently lets you choose between them. Another HUGE benefit is that you also have the freedom to add other folders/files besides the bootable ISO files. With Rufus, all this data is lost again each time when you use Rufus to make the flash drive boot into something else bootable. My 2 identical flash drives each have 256 GB drive capacity. Losing all the data on them each time is what I prefer to describe as the exact opposite of "so good". It is what it is. People are parrots IMO.
