Hi,

Which version of M. Reflect should I download?
From its official site after completing documentation, link is sent but it only downloads the launcher not the whole app?
Any ideas why?
I have to download an older version. from major geeks which gets updated.

Thanks.

I just did a test download and it worked for me. Did you change any setting in Windows Defender? If you can't get it to download from Macrium then try the download from Majorgeeks.

What could this 3rd new install with none tweaking be blocking Macrium??

The main purpose of making a Macrium Reflect rescue USB is so that, should your PC's drive become corrupted and unbootable, or worse still die and need replacing, you can boot from it and restore a Macrium image to the PC's drive.

That's not the only thing it can do though. As it contains a full copy of Reflect it can also make an image of the PC's hard drive. This can be useful if you want to recover user files from a PC that can no longer boot from its own drive. The Macrium image can be mounted and explored on any other PC that has Macrium installed.

Thanks. How do I create the rescue media .iso on a bootable usb?
It is only used to restore full backups.....correct?

How do I create the rescue media .iso on a bootable usb?
When you click on 'Create bootable rescue media' it shows all available options. The option to directly create a USB will appear in the list as soon as you plug in a USB.
