Hi folks
If you get the latest "dual protocol" gigimondo nvme adapter that supports nvme ssd as well as only nvme and use the extra heat adapter on top of the one the nvme card comes in andalso has improved "finned" heat dissipator" -- no tools needed -- the thing works brilliantly. Ive been running for 2 days several WintoGo installs and a Linux distro and the thing is barely warm.
I've now got 3 of these, 2X 1TB and 1X 2TB and have donated all my older classic 2.5 ins SSD's to a local school.
Much smaller footprint and so much faster -- in fact if you have an old PC even with a classic 2.5 inch PC in it the WinoGo system you can create on the external nvme card is far faster -- even on USB 3. !!!!!
I can't see the classic ssd 2.5 inch format lasting much longer now.
