Have anyone of you noticed your icon frame around your video is a bit misaligned or pixellated? These are icons 193,194 for imageres.dll.mun. It's kinda misaligned at large icons and medium icons view. This is due to Windows 10 ico are "256,96,64,48,40,32,24,20,16" while Windows 11 ico are ""256,64,48,40,32,24,20,16" and missing "96x96". I try the W10 icon for 193-194 with CustomizerGod but it aligned perfectly but it break or give error to the other icon. But by removing "64x64" with "96x96" seems to work.

I'm pretty sure W11 VIew Mode for:
Extra Large=256
Large=96
Medium=48

But for some reason they have removed "96x96" icon for all their imageres.dll.mun for W11.

Here are the new icons if anyone interested that I modified by using W10 version as a template to re-align them. They contained "256,96,48,40,32,24,20,16"

Weird issue you spot out !
I guess this should be temporary, Microsoft cannot leave that too long !

Well done for providing a new W10 style version of yours which fixes the misalignment.

But watch out: except the 256 format, all the images are blurred.
No worries, I reworked them all.
I also added the generic Windows 11 fixed versions.

That's interesting. I create my icons in Illustrator with vectors. I guessed scaling it or converting it down to size 96 and smaller usually won't work properly maybe due to the size of the pixel border and gradient? I guessed with 96x96 I would need to take it into photoshop and define the border with a more solid color and pixel size to keep it from being blurry or probably just remove the border altogether. But that shouldn't really matter right since Large Icon view you there's not blur at all since you don't zoom in that much to see the blur anyway. But good to know.

So wait, how do you fix the misalignment? I'm using the Vista style icons, but it only has 256, 96, 48, 32, 16 sizes.

I also don't understand why is it always displaying the video thumbnail in 4:3, even if the video is 16:9. For example here is a capture of my screen which is fullHD (16:9) and it's using the 4:3 thumbnail for some reason.

This is probably the reason why. Your icon(Vista) is probably centered. You should use Windows 10 icons 193,194 as a template to align all the sizes.

Hi there !

Does anyone know if this issue has been solved by MS since 22H2 or earlier ?
(/or if these reworked sizes here are still useful ?)
