This tutorial will show you how to view photos and screenshots on your phone in the Phone Link app on your Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC.

With the Phone Link app on your PC linked to your Android phone, you can instantly access the Android apps installed on your mobile device right on your Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC. Using a Wi-Fi connection, Apps allows you to browse, play, order, chat, and more — all while using your PC’s larger screen and keyboard.

You can view up to 2000 photos and screenshots you've taken on your linked phone in the Phone Link app on your PC.

The Phone Link app will only show photos that are in the Camera Roll or Screenshots folders on your linked phone. If you moved or saved your photos to a different folder, they will not appear in the Phone Link app.

Here's How:

1 Open the Phone Link app on your Windows 10/11 PC.

2 Click/tap on Photos on the toolbar. (see screenshots below)

3 You will now see a thumbnail of photos and screenshots from your linked phone.

You can right click on an image to Open, Open with, Copy, Save as, Share, or Delete the image.

You can click/tap on an image to see it larger, and have Open, Open with, Copy, Save as, Share, or Delete available on the toolbar.

OK, I'm stupid - why can I only see/scroll through 8 photos of the hundreds on my phone?

Edit - Seems it's only the ones in Internal storage/DCIM/Camera
1. Why are there these two sets of photos? What determines where the two are stored?
2. How do i see the ones not under DCIM/Camera?

Hello Tom, :alien:

It just depends on where the app(s) on your phone were set to save the images at.

I'e solved it. The stupid Google Pixel 7a, when it copied photos from my Redmi Note 7a, foe some unknown reason, set up two extra folders under Internal Storage/DCIM, so I had IS/DCIM/Camera (with 8 photos) and IS/DCIM/storage-01/Camera and 02/Camera with all the rest. I've moved them all to IS/DCIM/Camera and can access them. Not impressed with Google
