Teams Insider exclusive – Visual refresh in Microsoft Teams for personal use​

We’ve received consistent feedback from you that Teams for personal use can be more fun and lightweight. We’ve listened, and we’re thrilled to announce that there’s a fresh new look and feel on Windows 11!

We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes, and we’re excited to unveil the latest visual improvements that will make your experience even more delightful. We’re bringing people closer with larger, more engaging avatars and bigger reactions. We’ve added space between elements in the app and updated the color and material throughout Teams for personal use, to create a simpler, more inviting experience.

These updates are now available to Teams Insiders on Windows 11. Thank you for being a part of our journey as we continue to improve and innovate. Happy exploring and let us know what you think!

How to join Teams Insider?​

It’s easy to join Teams Insider for earlier access to new features and improvements:
  1. Go to app settings in Teams for personal use
  2. Navigate to Teams Insider program section (you can get there directly with this link)
  3. Tap Join button to join Teams Insider
  4. Restart the Teams app and you have the latest features and improvements
