Want Media Player context menu back

Hello,

I have deleted Windows 11 Media Player from context menu as I have start using the MPC but now I only want Play with Media Player in context menu back. Asked from chatgpt but the reg code didnt worked.

can anyone guide here ? moreover, i want windows 11 media player not the legacy one.

You say you want Windows 11 media player but your post is unclear as to WHICH media player you currently have installed.
WMC is no longer supported in 11. Folks have developed modified installer packages on github. Is that what you used to install WMC?
If you installed Media Player Classic, uninstall it using Revo, removing all leftover item Revo's scan finds. Restart

Windows 11 media player is an app in the MS store. Open Microsoft store. Search for windows media player. Make sure it's the official Microsoft app. Download it. You may have to enable it in Windows optional features.

I meant windows 11 media player latest not the old one legacy. its still working i just want it in context menu. i can access the media player.

Go to contol panel>programs and features>turn windows features on and off>Media. What do you see as options?
If Windows media Player (NOT media player legacy) is listed, check it and save.
Then try this.
