Last year it was heavily reported that a future Windows 11 version would require a complete reinstall of the OS from scratch. Is this that version, or is there another version coming which will require this, or has that now been cancelled completely by Microsoft?

Never heard that about regular builds but only for switching between Insider versions.

At first, they said it needed a fresh install. But if you mean the 23H2 update, it doesn't need a fresh install (it would be installed as a regular Cumulative Update, an EXE file which will install by double clicking on it!). 23H2 probably will be released next Tuesday.

Probably won't:

These experiences, including Copilot in Windows and more will start to become available on Sept. 26 as part of our latest update to Windows 11, version 22H2.

I didn't say that based on the event. I heard (before) It would be released as an "Optional" feature in September. It will be released as an official CU (for all users) in November.

I watched the event (video) today. All was about CoPilot. Nothing interesting but this one:

Microsoft (actually Intel+nVidia🤝) crushed the Apple M2 Max . Render an animation (HQ) scene in Blender in just 37 seconds!!!

I also noticed that finally, O365 has got the new simplified ribbon! Is it released for all users or another A/B test (CFR)?

The new Outlook icon (the closed one!) is nice:

This feature is great:

and when they'll upload the ISOs for a clean install?
Tomorrow hopefully, but I'm guessing October 10th. I don't want a clean install but I want to do an in-place upgrade to freshen things up.
