Hello!
Until recently Vodafone TV was only available on mobile phones or tablets and on TV using their set top box. At last they allow us to watch Vodafone TV on our computers through a browser by going to this link: Vodafone TV I can login to my Vodafone TV account, browse the available TV channels and VOD movies, but when I try to play a movie after a few seconds I get an error message. I searched that message and it is because my monitor is connected via analog VGA cable and is not HDCP compliant. In my main PC (see second system specs) I use a Display Port to VGA adapter to get a resolution of 1440x900. If I use an HDMI connection I am limited to 1280x720 and I cannot add 1440x900 as a custom resolution, I have tried, it doesn't work. I would prefer it if I could use my VGA connection to get the higher 1440x900 resolution and avoid HDMI. So is there any way to fake HDCP compliance and let me watch Vodafone TV on my computer? Please don't suggest to switch to HDMI, I already know that. I am just curious if there is any workaround to use a VGA monitor. For example Cyberlink PowerDVD would deny playing Blu Ray movies on VGA monitor, but I can use Media Player Classic for that. Is there any similar workaround? I have already tried all three browsers, Edge, Firefox, Chrome, the movie won't play.
