This tutorial will show you how to remove a linked Windows 11 device from the Link to Windows app on your Android phone mobile device.
You can link your Android phone and Windows 11 PC with your Microsoft account to view and reply to text messages, make and receive calls, and more - all right on your PC.
When you link your Android phone to your Windows 11 device, the Windows 11 device gets added to the Link to Windows app on your Android mobile device, and the Android mobile device is added to the Phone Link app on your Windows 11 device.
If needed, you can remove the Windows 11 device from the list of linked devices in the Link to Windows app on your Android phone. This can be handy if you no longer have the Windows 11 device.
Here's How:
1 Open the Link to Windows app on your Android phone.
2 Tap on the Profile icon on the top left. (see screenshot below)
3 Tap on Settings. (see screenshot below)
4 Under Device control, swipe until the Windows 11 device (ex: "BrinkW11") you want to remove is selected, and tap on the Settings (gear) button. (see screenshot below)
5 Tap on Remove. (see screenshot below)
6 Tap on Remove again to confirm. (see screenshot below)
7 The selected Windows device will now get removed from the Link to Windows app. (see screenshot below)
8 When finished, you can close the Link to Windows app if you like.
That's it,
Shawn Brink
