Unfortunately Photos Legacy has the exact same issue. It'll go through a batch fine, and then just randomly skip to another batch of images or even shuffle. They do not scroll in the order set in the folder. Ultimately, All images are included, incase I gave the impression images are being skipped and outright. Just their order is being skipped. I tested some stuff out to make sure Im not cra.... k, well juries out on that, but tried to figure out exactly how the app IS sorting them. For the life of me, I can't figure it out. I arranged the folder by date (a/d) Name (a/d), and type(a/d) with and without groups... Photos Is not doing it randomly, like reshuffling each session, but it is absolutely randomizing the order somehow. Is there a random/shuffle option that I'm just not seeing?
I don't have this issue with Windows Photo Viewer (the Win10 image viewer)... Buuuuuuuuut... It just occured to me why I prefer Win 11 Photos/Photos-Legacy and have been staying away for Windows Photo Viewer like the plague. Images viewed in Win 10 Photo Viewer are 3-4 times darker for some reason. AND errors occur with too many images saying that there isn't enough memory or something. This is just dumb. You know how some companies have been caught screwing with their phones and whatnot, I swear thats what they did with Windows Photo Viewer. Used to be solid. Now Win11 Photos and Photos Legacy is doin' this janky crap.
