Windows 11
Hello,

My PC Specs - Intel Core i7 3770S @ 3491.67 MHz - CPU-Z VALIDATOR

This error started when I was on Windows 10 OS. Initially I thought it is due to update interruption or some broken updates are causing this problem as my nephew used to click the restart button while it is in the process of update /restart.

1656080740712.png

I tried all possible ways available on internet but no luck. So, finally whenever I got this error I used to format the system. Few days it will work without any problem but after that it will repeat.

Couple of months back I moved to Windows 11 OS and it is working fine till yesterday. However, I got this error again on Windows 11 yesterday. Tried to perform System Restore but no luck. Every possible way is failing same as previous when I was in Windows 10.

Is this because of OS problem or my HDD causing this error? I have attached my HDD health report please check once.

Could you please someone help me to resolve this issue?

If it is HDD issue Can someone help me to find compatible SSD & Graphic card for this Mother board?

Note: I have added specs of this PC in System2 under my profile.

Sorry, did not notice the 2nd Computer.

You have 8 bad sectors and 8 weak sectors. Supposedly not enough for warranty replacement, but maybe enough to cause the problems you are seeing?

I would add a 500 GB or 1TB SSD for you boot drive and use the 2TB drive for programs and data, removing all partitions except the current C:, once the new SSD is installed and all is working well.

I'm partial to Samsung SSDs so these are what I would look at.

Thank you for your suggestions. So, Can I continue to use this HDD if I add a SSD as a primary bootable drive for OS?
As My Motherboard is a bit old one, do I have space to add the second SSD?

If you don't mind, I wanted to upgrade my graphic card too. So could you suggest a latest comparable one with my mother board?

I hope this issue is not related to RAM. Right?

Thank you!!

Are you having any problems with your internet connection?
If I have, would that be a cause to this account sign-in issue? Some times my wifi signal is up and down but this PC is connected with ethernet cable actually.

However, as I mentioned earlier this is a frequent problem for me. Earlier I thought it's OS issue. But after installing fresh Windows 11 also this is repeating so I have tested HDD health and it shows some problems.

I don't know any other factors which will cause of this error

Thank you!!

Looks like your motherboard will accept any of the modern video cards on the market.
1656209148273.png

Although I would suggest something that doesn't require external power. For example

As far as adding a SSD, I'm willing to bet your Cooler Master case has provisions for it. You have a model number for your case?

As for your case, it does have six 3.5" internal bays. Not sure if you can still buy 3.5" to 2.5" adapters through Cooler Master, but you can do something simple like velcro tape a SSD to the back panel. If your power supply doesn't have SSD power cables, a new power supply may be needed.

Thank you @Scott

Is this issue with the account sign-in due to bad HDD only?

YA! This the old backup. In case things go south. It'll give me access to everything I need.
If I have, would that be a cause to this account sign-in issue? Some times my wifi signal is up and down but this PC is connected with ethernet cable actually.
I just restarted my computer without internet access, and I didn't get any errors. If you kept getting different errors, I would say that it could be the HDD. Then again, I guess it's possible.

Come to think of it, I've logged into my computer many times without internet after hardware work simply by forgetting to plug in my ethernet cable, and never got any errors. So as @Winuser says, it could very possibly be your HDD.

Also, if this is your motherboard it has on-board HDMI and Display Port.

how could it be useful? I don't need a graphic card for dual display? any other particular use?

Although a discreet graphics card would be better, you could run dual display straight off your motherboard.
