Went to Login to my Older Email on webmail

Hello All

Today went to do my 6 month login for all old email accounts that i still wish to use sometimes, anyways sbcglobal.net addy worked fine, as did older yahoo one. get to att.net addy, after resetting password, get to the webmail page to check the email.

Account disabled due to Unusual activity, and to Contact At&t if think this is an error.

Should i Go ahead and Contact At&t even though no longer a customer of theres, or just let that email go somehow

Might just delete this account

"Unusual activity" does not always mean someone else actually got into you account. Most times it means their server saw multiple unsuccessful login attempts which is a flag there might be something suspicious going on. Most providers these days do the same thing if they suspect a hacker is trying to get into the account, disable a users account to protect the user.

If you want to keep the account, call the email provider and change your password. Be sure to make it one that can not easily be hacked.
If you don't use that email, delete it.
Either way, you will have to call AT&T.

Oh ok, Well there is a Delete Account button on the Email Accounts Profile page, but haven't done that as yet, but thinking about it

Haven't used it in about 6 months, the other 2 att related accounts, i use for newletters and site sign ups if a site needs an email and i don't wanna use my main one.

@yahoo.com addy ((used for sites off and on, and tied to my Flickr account that i use sometimes for SecondLife picture uploads

att.net one just used rarely
