when I download my media or apps using direct download say 50GB I dont notice any wasted data from my limited plan, however when I download larger files such as 100 or 115GB content I use torrenting however I notice quite a hit to my limited data so the 100GB takes from 105-115GB, it says it traffic analyze apps its network overhead, now is that something related to my connection or plan? I mean if I direct downloaded that 100GB will it take also 105-115GB total? or thats exclusive to torrenting? and if so can I minimize that overhead not? thanks in advance

Downloaded data is checked. If there are errors data is re-sent. That is related to the quality and quantity of the sources, distance, method of download and route to you etc, those are part of your "connection". The larger the download then statistically errors are likely to be larger.

A random 50 GB download is never going to be the same as another random 100 GB download.

but I dont notice direct download does that? for like 50GB I monitor traffic, then torrent will send upload 1400Kbits in the same time Direct download will send like 200-400Kbits and when measured both with data usage Direct download gives right size or a small increase in MBs however torrent will take like 2.5GB from a 50GB download as overhead

Also with torrents specifically, there is overhead related to finding nodes, updating nodes, communicating between each end that's not part of the payload, etc.

yeah so all those traffic are deducted from my quota as well as upload speed thats how my ISP works, its clearly NOT download quota, maybe I will try to switch to direct download for a bit

I'd be willing to bet your ISP sees it as you're downloading data to your device, whether that data is a file or a stock quote or metadata related to a torrent.
