I have Rainmeter on my laptop and Work Computer just running Illustro/Modern Gadgets but have not set anything up on my new build yet. Just curious what anyone else is running.

I look out my window and check if I need to put my gumboots on.

Do you have a link to Rainmeter or is it Windows 11 native?

And doesn’t the Windows Weather App/Widget give a recorded rainfall?

I went to my local hardware store once an asked if they had any Microsoft Powepoints.

On a serious note; I think I’d prefer Stardock Windows Blinds. I used it back with Windows 8 (or 10?) and it was pretty full on. Need some juice in your PC though.

I am sooo glad I didn't show my ignorance and give an answer. It would have been a doozy. The poster mentioned gadjets which to me is widgets which would definitely make me consider Rainmeter related to weather. This old woman doesn't know diddly about skins and Rainmeter to me is that wonky thing on a stake at the end of my house that has not seen much action during this Texas drought. Just another sign I'm getting too old for this.

Thank you. It's a bespoke skin I wrote; it got progressively more complex but I started with a simple clock.
And yes, that one runs on a laptop.

I couldn't find exactly what I wanted. It was either too large or didn't provide what I wanted, so I went ahead and experimented.
The line of icons below the weather allows apps to be launched with right & left click support.
(So one icon for Edge and Edge Canary, Mozilla Firefox & Firefox Nightly)
There is a second theme as well for more colorful (visible) icons.
