I need to give credit where credit is due, you are exactly correct in what you stated !! Compare Different Editions of DiskGenius

You can do a file to image backup, but it's very slow. One hour against seven minutes with MR.

That is mostly what I do anyway so I am still happy

Hard to see how you could improve much on MR Home but I would like to have an equally capable alternative available and have been looking at Minitool ShadowMaker. I had high hopes but after a couple of days have had to give up on it as I've not been able to restore images of my system drive using either the boot menu or booting to an iso on USB. There were other issues too but the inability to restore killed it for me. Not fit for use in its present version 4.1 imo.

AOMEI and Hasleo Backup Suite. Both are reliable and have saved my butt quite a few times, especially when I try to fix something that isn't broken, build a better mouse trap in Windows. Sadly, Marium's new pricing model is too expensive for my tastes.
