Where can I get the latest build of W11 to install on VMware?

Hi.

I must be missing something. I can't find it.
Just want to download to entire x64 build and install on a VM.

Not listed for me on the Insider Channel download site. Strange.

Arrrgh!

Forgot about UUP - but do I really have to install W10 first?
Isn't there an build with W11 slipstreamed into it?

As far as I know, you can always do a clean install.

Might have no choice.

I really thought there would be a full build of this "new" OS, lol.
Not a mere upgrade.

It's really a Theme Pack.

The one from UUP... IS a full build. It's just in pieces, so folks can choose how much to add to the ISO, I guess.

And.. the only things that get added are Windows Updates. If you choose the bottom choice, you get just 22000.1
The top choice (with all the updates) is 22000.51

I can't endorse this site, but this is where I downloaded it. These are supposedly 100% legit directly from Microsoft and this has always proved reliable for me in the past, but proceed with caution:

Those are just the ones from UUP.





Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22000.51 ISO

1. Pick language and click Next
2. Checkmark the version you want (that matches your key), and click Next
3. Chose: Download and Convert to ISO. Chose your Conversion Option. The bottom choice is the smallest and the fastest.

The top choice is the largest and takes the longest, but when done it will have all the updates. (Won't fit on a DVD anymore)
4. Then click Create Download Package.
5. Then Save the file to your desktop.

6. Extract the file to your desktop, open the folder and double click: uup_download_windows.cmd
7. Then just sit back and watch it create the ISO image.

8. When it's done, you can burn it to a DVD (if less than 4.7GB), or use RUFUS to create a bootable USB stick.
